Privacy Policy

  • When you join we ask you for information (data) which we then record and hold securely in order to be able to control our club membership.
  • We use your contact information to communicate with you regarding club information,
  • We ask for names, addresses, phone numbers and email addresses and may use any method available to contact you. (Phone numbers and email addresses are not mandatory but they help us to keep you informed).
  • We may from time to time need to contact you to advise you of changes to club meeting etc.
  • The data we hold is used only for administration record purposes and to contact you if the need should arise.
  • Photographs of you and your work may be taken and published on our web site.
  • Data Sharing;
  • We do not sell or share your data with any other organisation.
  • We take every precaution that we can to make sure that your data is held securely.
  • Data Retention;
  • We will hold your membership details for two years after a membership lapses. This is to enable an individual to re-join with minimal effort.
  • If requested by any individual (or family in the event of death), we will remove their data from the membership database. Once done we can no longer communicate or maintain membership records for the individual in question.
  • Your Rights;
  • You have the right to know what data we hold about you. Requests should be directed to the secretary.
  • You have the right to opt out of communications other than membership renewals
